Allow me to introduce myself…
My name is Katie Couture, owner and physical therapist of Ebb and Flow Physical Therapy and Wellness. I have been a PT for over 17 years, earning my doctorate from The George Washington University, and bachelors degree from Boston College. I have extensive experience in treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological ailments. My commitment to continuing my education and use evidence-based practice to drive my treatment sessions is what makes me stand out in the field. Through the years I’ve learned the importance of spending time with my clients to analyze and understand their movement patterns in order to effectively treat their pain and reduce the risk of re-injury.
I am an avid runner with 7 marathons under my belt and am also a busy mom of 3. I know first and foremost the importance of maintaining a strong and healthy mind and body in order to be present for my family. When I’m not at work you can find me teaching at Quincy College in the PTA program, or taxiing my kids around town. In addition to running I enjoy the beach, boating, skiing, and spending time with our friends and family.
Client Testimonials
"Katie has treated me for both my knees and my right hip. It is thanks to her that I can walk, bike, and ski again. She is a serious and very knowledgeable physical therapist but also has a wicked sense of humor, which had me leaving the clinic weak from belly laughs. I am amazed by her therapeutic skills and fortunate to have her as a therapist” - Phil D.
